Radio has a knack for being amazing!
This is a fantastic initiative from our friends Nick and Kristen from 99.5 The Wolf out of Washington State. Spotify doesn't do this, YouTube doesn't do this...this can only happen when you have a real relationship with your audience. Amazing!!
Nick says: "This holiday season, we are trying to do the impossible which is erase the medical debt for the entire Pacific Northwest."
Kristen: "In 2018, I was pregnant with our daughter Lilly. Because of complications from the pregnancy, I was hospitalized at 24-weeks to save my life and Lilly’s. I stayed there until I was able to give birth safely at 34-weeks pregnant. I received a bill for over $250,000.00. My insurance ran the numbers again and gave me a new bill for over $90,000.00. It took me almost 2-years to prove that the hospital stay during my pregnancy was medically necessary. After all that, I still owed over $3,000.00."
No one should have to worry about paying their medical bills or presents for their children. Nick and Kristen's campaign is so worthy and wonderful.
It's radio at it's finest.
