My former colleagues Darren B Lamb (from LG73 Vancouver) and Maureen Holloway, (Q107 Toronto) hung up their morning headphpones a while back and a gap that size needs filling...fast!
So, up pop Pooja Handa and Gurdeep Ahluwalia.
Both come from TV news channel CP24 where they were anchors on the morning news show...so, the hours won't be a shock to them!
I can't find any info on previous radio experience though (except that Gurdeep produced a show on college radio).
They're both well known personalities in the Toronto market, so that should make the transition a little easier. With Troy Scott as PD and Blair Bartrem (former Corus PD) as Executive Producer, they have an incredible back-up team.
No doubt they will look great on video and digital, but let's see if these TV people can crossover from the visual to the audio.

CHFI breakfast is a massive gig in an incredibly competitive market. Good luck to both.
