The 'Loki' season finale is out today.
Have you been watching? Loki is such a great character and the show is 100% entertainment from start to finish. Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson and Sophia Di Martino create a fantastic ensemble.
It's a wonderful example of a product matching the hype...and the hype was intense!
Your radio show is also the product of promotion, at some level.
* Maybe you are promoted via a banner on the station website.
* Are there billboards around town with your face on them?
* Does your station run produced promos highlighting 'best bits' of your show?
* Do other presenters talk about your show and tease what's coming up?
No matter how listeners are pointed towards your show - it all counts as promotion.
As with Loki, are you living up to that promotion?
When I tune in (no matter at the start, middle, or end of the show) are you delivering on the promise?
The promos may attract the audience...it's your job to make sure they stay (and return again).
