You know the type of post, right? A well-dressed man or woman telling you how they had nothing and now earn one million dollars a day "doing what they love" and it's "so easy".

Well, good on ya Gary but it isn't that easy for most people.

Getting further in life takes work and dedication...especially if you are hoping to make a living doing what you 'love'.

Radio is a tough business...you have to love it or you would never stick the heartache and anxiety that it can bring.

Ways to 'make it' in radio:
1. Network.
2. Invest in yourself (take courses, read, study other radio presenters).
3. Say 'Yes' to every opportunity as you start out.
4. Ask for feedback. Say 'Thank You' when you receive it.
5. Network!!
6. Be available (even when it's easier not to be).
7. Have a Demo and CV ready at all times.
8. Brand yourself (It's 2021...that's what we do now!)
9. Offer to 'help' out. You get your foot in the door, that way.
