Have you heard of 'Bayes Theorem'?
It says:
“The degree to which I believe in some proposition reflects how probable I think the proposition is to be true”.
In other words….if you convince me that it’s real, I’m more likely to remember it.
That goes for whatever you broadcast on the radio.
And THAT is the key to connecting with the majority of your audience.
You can never know each listener individually - but you can effectively communicate with each one when you:
* Know who you are and harness that.
* Surprise them.
* Help them believe you.
They are MORE LIKELY to believe you when you know who YOU are.
Bayes Theorem says:
“The degree to which I believe in some proposition reflects how probable I think the proposition is to be true”.
Change the word 'Proposition' for 'Person'…
The truer you are, the more likely it is that your listener will believe you.
In order to be attractive, you need to be believed.
When you are believed you are heard.
When you are heard...you gain listeners!!
