Former 98FM Dublin Programmer Director, Toni Tenaglia, has rated Number 1 in Melbourne according to today's ratings. Since starting her career in 1987, Toni worked her way up the Melbourne market, leading to winning a 'Mo' Award for her presentation skills. Not too shabby!
Toni left Ireland in 2010 and began a five-year stint with Mix 101.1/Kiss 101.1 Melbourne as APD and Music Director.
Then...in 2019, ARN came knocking and Toni got back behind the mic on Gold 104.3 and has never sounded better. She joined at a great moment for the station as it was around the time of the first Christian O'Connell Breakfast Show.
Today's ratings saw Gold rate #1 in the market for the 9th survey in a row and Toni is #1 in her 12-3pm daypart, outright...AM and FM. AM is the tough one because News station 3AW held that crown until it was snatched away again in this book!
So, congrats Toni! Very well deserved.
It was obviously something in the water from Dublin, all those years ago ;) !!
