What Are You Great At?

We ask that questions when we start coaching someone for the first time.

Initial response is...."Well...I'm pretty good at..." or "I'm decent at..." or "Great? I don't know if I'm great at anything...".

After a while, the 'great' shows up. Because we're ALL great at SOMEthing! It could be tying your shoe laces or writing computer code. Doesn't matter.

Hiding from what you're great at  does YOU no good and it also then, deprives the rest of us of your greatmess.

Imagine if Einstein said "Science? I dunno...I'm OK at it". Or Maradona said "Well, I like kicking a ball but you can't make a living out of that" or Meryl Streep said "I think I'll stick with the job in the bank...it's more secure".

Find out what you're great at on air.

Word Economy, Theatre of The Mind, Callers, Ad Lib, Prep, Comedy, Production...what are you great at?

Then concentrate on that. Be even greater at it!!!

Make THAT your number one focus. Strive to be the very best at that.
