If you are funny and energetic on-air, you will attract a fun-loving audience. People who want to laugh with you and spend time hearing your thoughts and ideas.
That's great.
Here's one for you though: every now and then... don't be funny.
At least don't 'try' to be funny.
Even the funniest person in real life can't be funny ALL of the time. The same with radio. Giving your personality tone and texture means you are more of a person than just some one-dimensional comedian.
Show a little of that serious side...show some of your empathy...your softness.
It actually helps your audience like you even more.
"What are ya...some sorta wise guy???"
