You know when you listen to the radio and you hear the presenter and they say words and they try to convey a message and you know they are working hard at it and you can hear the effort and you recognise the link structure and you understand the intent and you go along with it and you hope they do well and then they finish the link and you are pleased for them and you continue listening and you know you are in safe hands and then you realise you have been using a massive crutch in this entire sentence.
And...you wonder why you did that?
Words aren't crutches until you make them so.
And...that's about it.
