* Tracey - No. It’s a question I was asked today.* Nails - Can’t you be both?
* Tracey - Course you can. Or you can be just one of them. Or something else completely.
* Nails - I can’t help but feel that on-air people in 2021 feel pressured into creating content ALL the time.
* Tracey - I’ve heard DJs trying to put out content and they sounded uncomfortable. Whereas when they are true to themselves, they kill it. You’ve got to be comfortable.
* Nails - That’s the ‘radio voice’, isn’t it? Knowing who you are. If you don’t know who you are on the radio then how can you expect your listener to know who you are?
* Tracey - Yeah. Get to know who ‘you’ are on the radio...just like you try in ‘real’ life.
* Nails - Under-think it.
* Tracey - Under-think it. If you’re not comfortable, your listener will pick up on that.
* Nails - All about the listener, eh?
* Tracey - Yup.
