Tune Out!

I sat in on an online webinar last week. Each month, I try to get involved in at least two webinars...it's all about constant learning and improving. Nobody knows it all but everybody knows something!

The first five minutes consisted of the usual intros and "What to expect". No problem.

Then for another 20 minutes, we listened to the host tell us how he basically lived on the streets with only a peanut to eat and now he earns two million quid a second...and we can too! One of those "If I can do it, so can you" sells.

After a further 25 minutes, I began to lose interest and went to another place online...but kept the webinar running in the background. Three hours later, the webinar ended.

Three hours!!!

In no way should anyone be expected to dedicate three whole hours to your personal project. 

The same with radio. Your links need to be to the point and engaging. Otherwise, your listener will do what I did during that webinar...tune out!
