Fired...Again!

Having worked North American radio over the years, I kind of understand how it works. 

Not just the formats and rules and whatnot...but the 'corporate'.

More to the point...the firings!

A few more 'changes' were made yesterday by the Stingray Group in Canada that meant people moving and people leaving.

One of those on the way out is morning host Kelly Latremouille at The Breeze 104.3 in Vancouver. Kelly had been on that gig for eight years. That's enough time to get comfortable and content. Radio doesn't always work that way.

Advice: Get on board other platforms now! Get your Twitch account sorted, if that's your thing. Start blogging.  Design Instagram filters. Podcast! 

Then, get a website. If everything goes belly up, your website is your online calling card.

Expect the best and prepare for the worst - that still holds true.

As someone once told me: "Be the very best - it makes it harder to fire you"!
