I know what you'll say next!

Have you ever found yourself listening to a presenter on air, who sounded a little....predictable?

You know what I mean...all of the cliches and well-worn phrases used in every link.

Well, yesterday, I experienced a 'first'!  We were listening to a 'Gold-type' station, the jock speaking in the low, smooth, deep tones of the seasoned pro. He regaled us with dates and song-writers, said "of course" a  lot and generally mingled for the show. No one died but it was very much executed in cruise control.

On came China Crisis 'King in a Catholic Style'...happens to be a song I really like.

So here's the DJ's back-announce...and here's me talking out loud as I listened.

DJ: "China Crisis there.....and ....King in a Catholic Style......"

ME: (in DJ voice) "Whatever that means".

DJ: "...whatever THAT means..."

Boom!

I had literally, not only predicted what he was going to say next but actually beat him to it!!
