I meant to write about this at the start of the week but with RadioStar nearly here, the time slips by super-quickly.
On Monday, Simon Mayo began the next phase of his career by hosting his first afternoon Drive show on Greatest Hits Radio in the UK.
His first link was full of class.
As he opened the mic, he spoke about the show, the station and what he was hoping to do with his time there. Then he addressed the presenters who hosted the show before him. He thanked them for the work they had done and acknowledged them on air by saying "I owe you one".
That's a class act, right there.
No matter how well known you become or how many listeners you have...we're all in this together. Treating each other with respect like that goes a long way.
Be like Simon Mayo :)
