See this guy?
This is Dean Graziosi.
Dean is a "Success Coach, NYT Best Selling Author, Entrepreneur" (I've lifted that from his LinkedIn profile).
Dean is also an amazing marketer. Alongside, Tony Robbins, he launched a new book and coaching programme. The book is hardback, so he needs to send it to you.
Guess what popped up in my email?
A message from Dean asking for my address...attached to the email is this pic.
Oh sure...I know it's doctored. I get that. That's not the point.
Two things:
1) It looks kind of cool...I mean he's happy, there's his book and there's my name. I like it.
2) The picture made me stop and read the email.
By going to the extra effort of writing my name in this mass email, I felt something. I smiled. Then thought, "That's really great".
Usually, when these types of emails arrive, our response is not that positive!!!
He did that by making one change to the way marketing emails are sent. He made it more personal.
It's amazing how such a small detail can change an attitude from "Meh" to "Wow".
If you're on air today, you have the chance to do that every single time to open your mic. Every. Time.
Will you be "Meh" or will you be "Wow"?
Will you be remembered or will you be ignored?
